Innovate Foods is an award-winning producer of bespoke food for the foodservice and retail sectors and have been in business for over 30 years.

 

Based in fabulous Fife, Scotland, our history is one of ambition; a friendly, family business who already punched well above its weight. We have achieved significance stature in our market through innovation and growth, in both current and emerging markets, underpinned by strong customer relationships and impeccable service.

As part of Innovates planned growth strategy, in February 2020 it joined the Frostkrone Food Group, benefiting from the expansion of international presence and the enhancement of its status as a significant supplier in the frozen finger-food market.

 

Frostkrone Food Group has its own expansion agenda; thus, Innovate is now part of a seven-strong group of like-minded companies with eight factories across four countries. The most recent accession to the Group is a Wales based producer who joined in 2021.  Together we are Frostkrone UK Ltd and the collaboration between the businesses not only gives greater market presence but benefits from development projects across all factory sites and aids in distribution challenges.

 

Today’s Innovate Foods generates £20 million of turnover continuing its year-on-year growth.

 

In most recent years the business focussed on growth in Retail; while continuing to support our Food Service partners as they rode the challenges of 2020 and 2021. We chose our Retail business partners carefully, reflecting our products, our dedication to quality and our ability to fulfil our obligations to both Staff and Customers.

 

Considerable investment has been made at Innovate and we have further big plans for continuing investment to enhance and expand the facility to meet market demands. Investment in people has always been an important part of the business and continues apace, now with a staff of approximately 120.

 

Distribution includes Europe, Asia, and the Middle East; producing over 4 million kilos in 2021; a staggering 30 million portions of food annually from its factory in Fife, Scotland. It supplies many well-known high-street names, both Retail and Foodservice.
